With the lyrical introspectiveness of Springsteen, Petty, and Dylan and a dash of folk, rock, and country.
Influenced by the folk, rock, and country sounds of Ryan Adams, Jakob Dylan, and Johnny Cash, Wilson Wong has been honing his craft at open mics since 2007. Wilson has performed with Kearny Street Workshop at previous APAtures (2008 & 2009), RAMA, and Hyphen Magazine. He was the Bazaar Cafe August 2013 Songwriter in Residence. His backing group are the very talented Carlos Cajilig (Lead Guitar), Steve Witt (Bass/Mandolin), and Stephen Michael (Drums) a.k.a. "The Dudes"

"Other Side of Twenty" was an Indiegogo funded first studio recorded EP effort that was in the long time running. Working with Tommy P of 11th Ave Records, Wilson's dreams of putting an EP was realized. The EP's tracks are a showcase of what Wilson has to offer as a songwriter. His songs are often introspective, hopeful, sad, motivating, and lethargic.
